PPS scholarships and bursaries, opening new tertiary education frontiers

A big part of the CSI initiatives include the PPS bursaries. PPS awards bursaries to needy students with excellent academic record in order to assist them obtain their qualifications.
This bursary covers tuition and texbook costs for one academic year. PPS does not award bursaries to students that already have other confirmed sponsors unless the alternative sponsor is a loan and not a bursary, if this policy is contravened, the bursary will be withdrawn and disbursed to an alternative bursary recipient. PPS does not provide practical training or employment on completion of studies.
To qualify for this bursary, one needs to be registered for a fourth academic year of study or post-graduate degree for 2015, be studying towards a profession which on qualification would make one eligible for PPS membership, the applicant must be in need of financial assistance, have an academic average of at least 60% and be a South African citizen or permanent resident.
All applications for the bursary are supposed to be accompanied by certified copies of all available examination results or progress report, including the most recent, declaration of own or family’s financial position through an affidavit, statements of student account and certified copy of ID or passport.
