City of Matlosana Bursary- Education Funding for Scarce Skills

Situated in the Dr Kenneth Kaunda district, which falls under the North West province of South Africa, the City of Matlosana (formerly known as Klerksdorp) has a number of bursary opportunities available.

The City of Matlosana Bursary is open to students who reside in the Matlosana Municipality.

What are the qualifying criteria?

  • Be a South African citizen
  • Reside in the Matlosana Municipality
  • Have proven financial need
  • Have a strong academic record
  • Preference is given to students studying within the scarce skills sector

The City of Matlosana Bursary aims to address the lack of funds for education faced by thousands of students in the area.

Applications for the City of Matlosana Bursary are available at your nearest local municipality office and libraries within Klerksdorp, Orkney, Stilfontein and Hartebeesfontein.

  • Matric final certificate
  • Course fee statement
  • Proof of acceptance
  • Proof of residence
